Goal tracking made simple

Whether you've decided to participate in our "Terrific in 10" body transformation contest, or resolved to be in tip-top shape by beach season,  our goal tracking functionality will help you every step of the way and keep you on target.  Did we mention it takes less than 60 seconds to set-up?

Select "GOALS" from the top navigation bar and you'll quickly be led to your personal goals page.  From here you have the ability to create 2 types of goals; weight related and exercise frequency.  Choose one or both!  Don't forget to hit "SAVE" at the bottom of the window.

Now you should see a progress meter representing your goal from start to finish. To update your results all you have to do is enter your workouts for the week or your current weight and you'll "see" your progress immediately.  If you haven´t set up your weight and/or exercise frequency goal yet – this is the perfect time to do so! Just go to GOAL...

Never forget your workout again!

It's easy to forget how important it is to make time for yourself.  That's why fitness professionals will tell you that in order to get in the habit of a workout routine, you need to physically  commit your exercise schedule to paper.

We've done one better!  Event reminders and a fully functioning calendar make sticking to your workouts a "no-excuses" appointment.  And best of all once you've completed a scheduled workout.  It gets automatically added to your exercise frequency goal count.  Let's try one on for size...

You've made a promise to yourself to workout 3 times this week.  You enjoy Pilates, Strength Training and Yoga and you would like to add these types of classes to your schedule.  Select any Pilates class from the "EXERCISE" tab.  At the bottom of the player you'll find a blue button that says "SCHEDULE" .  You'll now see a pop-up that allows you to fill in all the specifics.  You'll find a button that even allows you to set an email reminder if you easily forget.

After you save this information your exercise will be scheduled on your calendar which you can view at any time by clicking on the calendar on the left-hand side of most any page.  Just repeat this process for your Strength Training and Yoga videos of choice and you've just booked yourself a healthy week.  You can always add non-GLF@H activites or GLF@H activities directly from the calendar as well.  It's like your own personal assistant!

Challenge yourself, challenge your friends

So you've set goals for yourself and you've made it a point to reach those goals by tracking your daily efforts via your calendar, but you still want another safety net to hold you accountable.

Our challenge functionality is just what you're looking for.   At GLF@H you can create a challenge to help you meet your fitness goals and achieve your New Year's Resolutions.

Individuals and groups alike can challenge one another to see who reaches  their healthy weight loss goals first or who reaches a certain number of workouts by a specific date.  Engage the people you know in a fun and healthy competition and you'll be so surprised at the results.  Let's learn more about creating groups and getting started with challenges...

Member vs. member

GLF@H gives you the unique possibility of challenging your friends to a friendly (but most likely fierce) fitness contest. Simply choose who you want to challenge from your friends list and set up your own goal - e.g. loosing 15 lbs. in two months or doing 8 workouts over the next two weeks. Setting up a challenge is just one more way to ensure your New Year's Resolution is a total success.

You will of course be updated on your opponent’s progress on a regular basis so you can make sure to keep up or stay ahead!  Once a challenge has been accepted by your opponent, you can view any and all of your challenges by selecting “CHALLENGES” from the new navigation bar which appears 2nd from the top when you choose GOALS from the top navigation bar.

Challenges - group vs. group

This is a great way of engaging multiple people  in a fun and healthy competition! Groups can now challenge other groups to reach a goal - or rather; a group owner can choose to either challenge another group or accept a challenge on behalf of his/her group. This functionality allows you to team up with your class, company, department, family or friends to challenge another group of people.

Men vs. women, marketing department vs. accounting, Jones vs. Anderson...you, as a group owner, are the boss and only your imagination sets the limits. Choose “CHALLENGE ANOTHER GROUP” from the list of groups you own to get going and keep track of your group challenge from the goals section by choosing “GROUP CHALLENGE”.

Not a member of any groups? That's an easy fix!  You have two choices: join an existing group that interests you and matches your goals or, create your own!  It takes less than 5 minutes to create your own group.  Just go to "COMMUNITY" (top bar) and "GROUPS" (2nd bar from the top) and choose "CREATE NEW GROUP".
